Songs to Somewhere is the EP debut of Garry V and includes 5 original songs that he wrote between Portugal and Canada over the last several years.

 

With folk rock and Americana flavours, these songs talk about relationships, loneliness and sometimes very personal subjects, just like the only song in Portuguese that he wrote for his mom “Para Longe De Ti (nunca)”.

 

These songs reflect also his feelings of having two hometowns split between Portugal and Canada.

 

The song “Swimming Against The Current” talks about those feelings of having to find the way home despite all the day by day struggles…
